Kelly Ann Morris

My dear friend Kelly, we were neighbors when Benny Jr. was little & you were pregnant with Brook & I was pregnant with my son Ryan. My husband Herrin was friends with your husband Benny & we had a lot of good times together with our young families. We moved back to San Diego, California in 1998 & lost touch with each other, but I thought about you, Benny & your children a lot over the years... I remember when we would go walking at the levee on Haynes Blvd trying to loose a few pounds of baby weight, but those walks were full of talk & laughter between us & not about exercise at all, just 2 young mothers walking in the sunshine having fun! I remember all the good meals you cooked & the fun we all had at the Mardi Gra parades with our babies. Fast forward 25 years - Me & my husband Herrin moved back to New Orleans in May 2023 last year. I was determined to find you so we could reconnect, share stories, talk about the past and catch up, only to find your obituary & learn that you passed away in September. My heart is broken, and my prayers & condolences 🙏🏾 to your family & your beautiful children. I miss you & love you my dear friend & will cherish your memory forever.
